The Cincinnati Bengals will always have a chance to beat any team. It's not hard to figure out why, it's quarterback Joe Burrow.

After a rookie campaign that saw him tear his ACL and MCL, Burrow has been the center of what's made the Bengals a powerhouse. In two full seasons, Burrow has led the Bengals to the AFC Championship game in each and he got the team to within one score of winning a Super Bowl in 2021.

Burrow has quickly earned the reputation as being one of the NFL's best quarterbacks, just ask current and former players. On Monday, when Pro Football Focus ranked the best players at his position, they echoed those sentiments as Burrow came in at No.3 behind Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs and Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills.

Burrow has led the league in PFF passing grade (by fractions) in each of the past two regular seasons. He has shown that, while everybody might be chasing special athletes at the position, just putting the ball in the right place at the right time is still capable of transformative play at the position. He has a career 77.1% adjusted completion rate, and his turnover-worthy play rate has gone down in each of his NFL seasons.

As good as Burrow was on Cincinnati's run to the Super Bowl, he improved in a plethora of areas also in 2022.

Burrow threw for more touchdowns (35) and fewer interceptions (12). The former first-round pick also saw his QBR go up over four points and he set career highs in total completions (414) and first down throws (222).

Although it's hard to put Burrow over Mahomes seeing as he's won two championships, he did beat him head-to-head three consecutive times before last year's conference title game. Before that loss, he knocked out Allen and the Bills. So, Burrow has had immense success going against the best quarterbacks in the league lately.

With the way his career has gone so far, 2023 will be another huge success for Burrow.
