The Tennessee Vols had a buzzer-beater entry into the NCAA transfer portal this week.

According to On3's Matt Zenitz, Vols defensive back Cameron Miller has entered the transfer portal.

The portal closed on April 30, but Miller apparently beat the deadline.

Miller signed with Tennessee as a member of the Vols' 2022 recruiting class.

The Memphis native was a rated as three-star recruit coming out of Memphis Academy of Health Sciences. Miller originally signed with UT as a wide receiver, but he moved to safety last fall after going through spring practice (2022) as a wide receiver.

Miller didn't see any action for the Vols as a true freshman this past season. Losing Miller will obviously impact Tennessee's depth in the secondary, but he's not a player that was expected to see important snaps for the Vols in 2023.
