The Denver Broncos have been one of the busier teams in the offseason so far and it is showing by what is being put on paper so far.

The Broncos spent a ton of money in the offseason, as they should have. Taking advantage of a new ownership group that wants to get this franchise has been the biggest success story of this offseason. I think the money they spent in free agency will ultimately be what improves this team the most outside of hiring Sean Payton.

The Broncos are still a team that has a lot of work to do though. They won't instantly be a contending team and may not make the playoffs next year because of the teams in the division. But, it's all about improvements.

The moves they have made overall this offseason would suggest this team has no option but to get better than that terrible 2022 season that no one saw coming. They have been one of the better teams in the offseason game that every team plays, and one NFL analyst thinks so too.

7. Broncos: Did they outbid themselves for OT Mike McGlinchey and OG Ben Powers? Perhaps. But Sean Payton is right to reinvest in the trenches, seemingly shifting the offensive approach around the ground game that helped QB Russell Wilson stay comfortable for so long in Seattle. Adding DL Zach Allen and retaining LB Alex Singleton ensures the front seven still has pop. And you can do quite a bit worse than Jarrett Stidham for an emergency backup/replacement QB. – Cody Benjamin, CBS Sports

We already talked about the free agency moves and how they were so huge, but the draft was pretty big too. I'd say outside of the first pick, the Oklahoma wide receiver Marvin Mims, the draft was almost an A grade.

They didn't need a receiver badly enough to not only use your first pick but to trade up for him too? Now, should they have taken one in this draft? Probably, but at 63 may have been way too early considering every need they had.

The Drew Sanders pick I think has the potential to be one of the best steals of this draft. I think he was the best linebacker in the draft, and he was definitely the most versatile linebacker in the draft. The Broncos needed some help next to Alex Singleton and they got that.

I would have liked to see them go offensive guard sometime in the draft, but they ended up addressing that in the UDFA market. Overall, I think I can agree that the Broncos have been the seventh-best team in the off-season games they all play that consist of trying to make your team better.
