The Las Vegas Raiders could be in for something big after the recent news has surfaced of the team hosting a Pro Bowl cornerback.
The Raiders need a lot of help on defense, but more specifically, they need a lot of help in the secondary. They drafted two guys who could help in Jakorian Bennett and Christopher Smith, but that won't fix all the issues. They need more, and they could get that soon.
They need a veteran that is good on the outside, and a guy who has won before. Sure, young rookies are great, but a guy who has been a Pro Bowler is a good thing to ad to a very young group.
According to Vic Tafur of The Athletic, the Las Vegas Raiders are hosting a visit for Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Peters.
This is a guy who was once in the division with Kansas City, and is still one of the better cornerbacks in the league despite the fact that he is getting older. He is a guy who can play press man like Patrick Graham likes and can be a great veteran for the young guys.
They need help in the department, and having Nate Hobbs, Marcus Peters, Marcus Epps, and Jakorian Bennett is a great start. Signing Peters would be huge for this team.
