Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow topped an impressive list this week that's related to his time at LSU.

247Sports ranked the top 16 transfer quarterbacks of all time and Burrow came in at No. 1 on their list.

The former LSU Tigers standout started his college career at Ohio State before spending his final two seasons in Baton Rouge.

Burrow led LSU to a perfect 15-0 season in 2019 (which included a win against Trevor Lawrence and the Clemson Tigers in the national championship game). The former No. 1 overall draft pick also won the Heisman Trophy in 2019.

From 247Sports: Burrow’s magical 2019 season is the freshest in everyone’s minds and it came at a historic level. Not only did he guide the LSU Tigers to a 15-0 national championship campaign, Burrow lit it up on the field with plenty of talent around him. He finished the year with 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns and six interceptions, while completing 76.3% of his passes. It was evident early on that Burrow was doing something special. His 60 touchdowns and 202.0 quarterback rating are NCAA records and he also led the NCAA in completion percentage and passing yards. He later became the No. 1 overall pick by the Cincinnati Bengals.

There have been some great transfer quarterbacks over the years. From Cam Newton to Baker Mayfield and Troy Aikman to Jeff George, it seems like every college football era over the last 40 years has had some impressive transfer quarterbacks (the list goes on with names like Justin Fields, Russell Wilson, and Jalen Hurts, among others). But according to 247Sports, it's Burrow that stands above the rest.

And after what we saw from Burrow in 2019 — arguably the best season ever by a collegiate quarterback (5,671 passing yards, 60 passing touchdowns and just six interceptions) — it's hard to disagree.
