The Queen City is the current best example for winning being contagious. After the Cincinnati Bengals clinched their second straight AFC North title, Cincinnati pro sports teams can't seem to lose.

FC Cincinnati started it off by storming ahead of the MLS standings so soon after taking residence at the bottom, and the exact same thing is happening with Cincinnati's first professional club.

The Cincinnati Reds are winners of 12 straight games, and roster the current Rookie of the Year favorite in hitting sensation Elly De La Cruz. Their historic hot streak has them at the top of the NL Central, and the head coach down the street has done more than taken notice.

Reds manager David Bell revealed this week that he met with Bengals head coach Zac Taylor. Per WLWT's Olivia Ray, the two coaches have been bouncing ideas off each other, and Taylor has taken them to his players.

The Bengals and Reds aren't mirror images of one another, more like a star observing another from a few light years away. The light emitting from Great American Ball Park looks strikingly similar to what came from Paycor Stadium two years ago. The Bengals believe they've found a formula to sustain that success, and the Reds will try to find that now.

Despite differences in the timeline, Taylor is wise to gauge what Bell has been doing to spark life in his ball club. Getting stale in your approach is what can catalyze sudden lapses in urgency. Anything Taylor can take from Bell could later help the Bengals emerge from a surprising slump.

Time and time again, Taylor has proven he's one for all things Cincinnati. His willingness to involve and incorporate the city has been as welcomed as the winning he's helped bring to the Bengals.

When both teams on the banks of the Ohio are thriving, Cincinnati looks its absolute best.
