NFL Draft season is full of hot takes.

Fans become general managers and prospect experts. Former executives give their opinions on almost every prospect possible. Media members throw together tons of mock drafts. It is quite the time of the year for the league.

The individuals that are the most closed-lipped are the ones that matter the most – the current coaches and executives of NFL teams.

Regardless, quarterbacks are always the cause of many discussions.

Former New York Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum believes that former Tennessee Vols QB Hendon Hooker is the best QB prospect in this draft class.

When healthy, Hooker was ultra-productive in the SEC during his time in Knoxville.

That being said, having him as your top-ranked QB in this class isn't a common thought process.

Many scouts and media members have C.J. Stroud or Bryce Young as the top available quarterback. Some even have Anthony Richardson as their top signal-caller.

It is certainly a bold take about the former Vols QB from Tannenbaum.
