There has been some news surfacing the league late on Friday night, as one of the best safeties in the league has demanded a trade. Budda Baker, the Arizona Cardinals All-Pro wants out, and the Raiders should have their eyes on the whole situation.

It's fair to say that the Cardinals are currently imploding with all of the crazy things that have been going on. Kyler Murray not studying his craft and instead playing video games and being immature, and now Budda Baker wants out.

It's no secret the Las Vegas Raiders need defensive help. It's also no secret that their secondary may be one of the worst in the league.

The Raiders have just as much draft capital this season as any team. With their twelve picks, a trade for Baker could look to happen. But, there is still one thing that stops that from happening.

The Raiders only have about $11 million available in cap space, which is good for a team that is about to enter the draft with as many picks as they have. But, they will need to create some cap space to get Baker in Las Vegas.

Baker's contract over the next two years is a non-guaranteed base salary of $13.09 million and $14.2 million in 2023 and 2024. If they restructure some contracts and guarantee some more money upfront or whatever else they need to do, I think they could have a chance at trading for Baker.

And maybe they need to send some players in the deal to help with the salary situation. Bringing Baker on would help solve most of the secondary issues, especially if they grab more defensive backs in the draft.

Of course, there is a huge chance this won't happen, but it's fun to think about.
