A former Tennessee Vols quarterback has entered the NCAA transfer portal.
Former Vols quarterback Harrison Bailey, a four-star recruit in the 2020 class, has entered the transfer portal for a second time.
Bailey transferred from Tennessee to UNLV after the 2021 season.
Bailey had a shot to start at UNLV this fall. In fact, Bailey's strong performance in UNLV's spring game — he completed 10-of-18 passes for 169 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception — suggested that he might be the frontrunner for the job.
Instead, Bailey will be looking for a new home this spring.
The Georgia native passed for 594 yards, four touchdowns, and two interceptions during his two seasons with the Vols.
This past season at UNLV, Bailey passed for 318 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
It wouldn't be a surprise if Bailey transfers back to the east coast. Another group of five program will be his most likely destination.
