At this point, it feels like the Titans could go in any direction during this upcoming draft. They could stay at eleven and pick an impact player like Paris Johnson Jr., Jaxon Smith-Njigba, or Christian Gonzalez. They could also attempt to move up and get a quarterback.

It has recently been reported that the Titans are interested in trading up to three and drafting a QB. Most of those reports assume the Titans would take one of Anthony Richardson or Will Levis, as it is feeling increasingly likely the top two picks will be Bryce Young or CJ Stroud. The Panthers and Texans desperately need a QB, and Young and Stroud have separated themselves from the rest of the pack.

However, in CBS' latest mock draft, Will Brinson has Young going first to the Panthers and EDGE Will Anderson Jr. going to the Texans at two. Anderson is an elite prospect in his own right, and picking him would give the Texans a foundational piece on the defensive side.

It would also mean that the Cardinals' number three pick would significantly increase in value. While Richardson and Levis are both excellent prospects, there is a clear drop-off between them and the top 2 QBs in this draft.

While Stroud might not be a perfect prospect, the Titans would be crazy not to make a move to go and get him. In this mock draft, Brinson has the Titans doing just that:

Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort spent the last few years in Nashville with the Titans — when the Texans shock everyone, this No. 3 pick turns into gold. The Titans can jump up for a reasonable price (No. 11, plus the Titans' second-round pick and a fourth-round pick) and grab a QB after Malik Willis appeared to not be Mike Vrabel's guy.

Having an opportunity to pick a QB prospect like Stroud does not come around very often. If the asking price is as low as Brinson says, the trade would be a no-brainer for the Titans.

If the Titans were to pick a QB in this draft, Stroud would be the best fit.

Earlier this offseason, Titans GM Ran Carthon talked about his most desirable traits for a QB on the "Go Long" podcast. He mentioned that accuracy and anticipation are what he looks for the most. Stroud is the best in this class at both.

Vrabel also has deep ties to Ohio State, and Stroud seems like someone he would love to coach. With lots of talent already on the defensive side, Stroud could be the QB to take the Titans up a level.

While this scenario may be unlikely, it is arguably the best thing that could happen to the Titans in this draft. Walking away with a new franchise QB would instantly give the Titans organization new life.
