Bijan Robinson, the Texas running back, knows exactly what he wants come the NFL Draft later in the week.

He wants to play with Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts. And Robinson let as much be known when he went on ESPN's NFL Live to let the world know that outside of Patrick Mahomes, Hurts is his No. 1 guy.

"Jalen Hurts," Robinson said when asked about the quarterback he would want to play with.

His selection of playing with Hurts comes as no surprise. Robinson had a top-30 visit here in Philadelphia. And in the ESPN segment, he said that the interview with Philadelphia and the visit "went great."

Robinson's presence in the backfield with Hurts could make an already dangerous offense harder to stop. Some might say it would be a nearly-impossible task.

Robinson is a three-down running back that plays the game with a dexterity that makes him an asset in nearly every fashion of the game. His presence would complement Rashaad Penny well because Robinson possesses pass-catching abilities out of the backfield. That is something Penny isn't necessarily great at.

Robinson logged 1,580 yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground during 2022. He also broke 91 tackles.

There has been some thought that the Eagles are seriously considering selecting Robinson at pick No. 10 or pick No. 30.

Recently, James Palmer of NFL Network reported that executives from NFC teams expressed worry about the Eagles using a first-round pick on Robinson.

“When I talked to several teams over the weekend in the NFC, they do not want the Eagles to draft Bijan Robinson," Palmer said. "They believe that would make this offense beyond scary.”

And then, according to Hallie Grossman of ESPN, Robinson met with Eagles general manager Howie Roseman in Philadelphia last month. And during that interaction, Robinson did a great job of selling himself to the Eagles' decision-maker.

The story went as follows:

Roseman asked, "Why do I need to take you at No. 10?"

Robinson’s reply, “You’re not going to get a running back. You’re going to get a difference-maker.”

That is one way to sell yourself to an NFL general manager. It's clear that Robinson is not lacking confidence. He keeps tempting Roseman through what he says about the organization, specifically about Hurts, and continues to make this possible pairing extremely enticing.

Come Thursday, the Eagles will definitely know more.
