It's draft day. Accordingly, rumors and reports are flying across the NFL's social media world. The Tennessee Titans have been in multiple reports. A new one has just emerged, though.
According to ProFootballTalk, the Titans are trying to trade for the third overall selection as well as Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
This move would seemingly supply the Titans with their new WR1 as well as a new quarterback with that draft pick. According to reports, they have plenty of interest in C.J. Stroud, Will Levis, and Anthony Richardson.
Ian Rapoport commented on the situation shortly after the report from PFT.
He says that the Titans have had discussions for the third overall pick from Arizona, but conversations have not been centered around Hopkins. So, only time will tell. The deal would not happen before the Houston Texans pick at two, regardless.
It would be a massive move for the future in Tennessee. Not to mention, it would be another major step in first-year GM Ran Carthon's off-season.
