A trip to Atlanta, GA is on the line. The Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals compete for the opportunity to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship. With a potential trip to the Super Bowl on the line.
Earlier this week, the Bills opened as a 2.5-point favorite. In what is the true first matchup of the season between these teams, following the first being canceled for obvious reasons.
However, inching closer to the game, the Bills odds have gone from 2.5-points with an over/under of 45, to a wider margin. A now 6-point spread with a 49-point o/u.
Not just because of the clear homefield advantage Buffalo has, having only lost once all season at home, but also due to a number of additional factors.
- The Bengals are down to just three original starters on the offensive line.
- Their underwhelming play against a hurting Baltimore Ravens team.
- Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen vs a defense allowing the 10th most passing yards per game.
- Allen has never lost a home playoff game.
Assuming the Buffalo Bills are able to play a similar defensive game to Baltimore, there is no reason they can't win this game. A much healthier Bills team, who is also in the middle of a long-win streak brought home.
