With their season and an AFC South division title on the line this weekend, the Tennessee Titans have another injury situation potentially impacting over Saturday's game in Jacksonville. The status of rookie wide receiver Treylon Burks is now in question as he deals with a groin injury suffered this week in practice.

Burks has already missed a total of six games during his rookie season, four with turf toe, and two with a concussion. He worked back into action against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football last week, tallying four catches for 66 yards, but now may be at risk for missing another.

I spoke to Burks in the locker room before practice on Wednesday where he was both healthy and excited to take the field in a must-win game. Burks told me that this was "100 percent" the kind of opportunity he has always dreamt about, and said he just wanted to "go out and have fun and give everything else to God."

Here's a look at Burks during practice on Wednesday, as he worked on his chemistry with new Titans starting quarterback Josh Dobbs:

After media left practice on Wednesday, Burks landed on the injury report as a limited participant with a groin injury. He was then not spotted during the open portion of Thursday's practice either.

Shortly after practice wrapped, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel spoke to the media, but would not rule Burks out for Saturday's game.

"We held him out today, but I think he'll be ok," said Vrabel.

If they are without Burks on the field, the Titans' offense would be without one their most dynamic weapons that allow them to stretch the field. That should put even more pressure on Dobbs under center and allow the Jaguars defense to key on stopping Derrick Henry.

Hopefully, this will not be the last game the Titans play in 2022, and we see more of Burks before his rookie campaign wraps. He has showcased his superstar potential and game changing physical traits this year, but has been plagued by injuries that have prevented him from really finding his footing in the league.

Burks currently sits at 29 catches, 425 receiving yards, and one touchdown in 2022.
