Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has a… what's the word? A different pregame ritual he uses before dominating NFL defenses on Sundays.

It's a pretty simple ritual albeit an uncomfortable one. He throws up.

That's pretty relatable for anyone who has felt nauseous out of nerves ahead of a big day or a big moment in life. That's just the human body. But there's something funny about an NFL star quarterback who does superhero type stuff on the playing field being as vulnerable as many of us.

There have been comments here and there about the Allen's pregame ritual before but Buffalo's talented playmaker broke it down in detail on the Kyle Brandt's Basement show.

"I never did it until my second year in the league," Josh Allen told Kyle Brandt.

The Bills quarterback described his experience in college dealing with flemmy symptoms and having cramps on his thumb resulting in it being stuck. Allen had to pull it back to get things back to normal.

Those symptoms were common in Wyoming for Josh Allen. But things changed ahead of a preseason game in his second year with the Bills.

"I actually threw up because I was pretty sick," said Josh Allen. "And I went out there and I didn't have any of those symptoms. So I said 'hold up, we might be onto something here."

When asked if that happened in other areas of his life, the Bills quarterback assured Kyle Brandt it's a football-exclusive thing for him.

"It's only on game day," said Allen.

While an unorthodox approach to game day preparation, it's clear that it's worked for Josh Allen. He's become one of the best quarterbacks in the league since his second year in the league and it appears his weird pregame ritual is a part of that succcess.
