It is no secret the Denver Broncos had problems last season on offense. In fact, the biggest problem was coaching, and I think most would agree, which is why Nathaniel Hackett is no longer there, and Sean Payton is.

Hackett was a great dude who the players loved, but it seemed like it just wasn't his time yet to be a head coach, and that is okay. The problems were so noticeable that the fans were screaming at them during the game.

Yeah, remember when the Broncos didn't know how much time was on the play clock, so the fans would yell it out? That won't happen anymore, at least, that's what Payton said.

It kind of sounded like a subtle shot, in a way.

"There are certain things you learn from experience," Payton said as to why he is so good as a game manager. "I played quarterback, I think that helped, but also I was around some really good people… but yeah, I don't anticipate the crowd having to count down the 30-second play clock."

If that isn't a shot at Hackett, I don't know what is. At least he is honest in saying that those issues won't happen, which is what you want to hear if you're a Broncos fan.

Payton seems like he has the right head for what he wants to do with the team. I think we see an immediate change next season. We won't be hearing the fans through the TV yelling out the numbers on the play clock.
