We have all heard the narrative surrounding the two Super Bowl teams in the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, this being the Andy Reid bowl, as they are calling it.

The Chiefs' current head coach used to coach for the Eagles, for even longer than he has in Kansas City. He was a staple of that city when it came to football, and is now doing the same type of things in Kansas City.

He went to four straight NFC Championships with the Eagles, but could never get over the hump. With the Chiefs, he has now been to five straight AFC Championships, and three Super Bowls, with one win to go on his resume as well.

Reid and Eagles' owner Jeffrey Lurie had a special bond. They had a real friendship for what has happened when Reid was there.

Lurie revealed a detail showing just how special and how close the two of them are, which I think will touch everyone's heart.

The Chiefs faced the 49ers in the 2019-2020 Super Bowl which took place in Miami. Lurie revealed that he actually went to the game to support Reid, and when the Chiefs won it, he cried.

"If we (Eagles) couldn't be there, there's nobody I wanted more to have it."

These two teams respect each other more than you know, and it's because of all of the things that have transpired over the years that connect them. For a very long time, the Philadelphians chose the Chiefs as one of their second favorite teams because of Reid.

Obviously, that has changed a bit now. But the two teams will always have some similarities that bring them close together, whether it be Andy Reid, the Kelce brothers, or other things.

But also, all of that changes on Sunday.
