Super Bowl Sunday is here with the time-honored tradition of the logo at midfield and visiting franchises possessing an endzone. On the field of a pre-selected stadium.

Through the game, the most eye-opening thing anyone can talk about (aside from Rihanna's special guest) is the conditions of the playing field.

Field conditions that have caused a number of players to change cleats in the middle of the game. Nearly all the Philadelphia Eagles players having completely changed.

Largely due to rough grass and slippery conditions. From a pre-made field specially created for the Super Bowl.

Reportedly costing just under $1 million to grow, maintain and transport over the last two seasons!

The NFL is using this game as chance to try out the new grass type that could be used across the league. Including stadiums with turf, which continues to be the subject of criticism amongst NFL players.

Many of whom believe is the key cause for so many torn ACLs and MCLs, deterring careers.

As the Super Bowl continues, the NFL will undoubtedly see this game and the continued criticisms and pratfalls of their product.

If this is the plan moving forward to allow grass as the main option for NFL clubs, it can't continue with these glaring results.
