The Las Vegas Raiders may be nearing a huge decision with one of their best players.

This offseason All-Pro running back Josh Jacobs is looking for a new contract after coming off of his best season yet and looking like one of the best running backs in the league.

His play would suggest that he deserves to be paid more than what he already was being paid on his rookie deal, but, it would appear the two sides are having trouble agreeing on a deal.

The Raiders and Jacobs seem to be having a hard time meeting in the middle, which is why a recent report by Tom Pelissero came out saying the Raiders will likely franchise tag Jacobs if something isn't done by Tuesday.

If he is tagged, or a deal isn't met to Jacob's liking, he could easily sit out some of the training camp, as a few other players have done over the last few years.

This situation will definitely be something to monitor moving forward. The league leader in rushing yards could be placed on a franchise tag soon, delaying his free agency process till next season.
