The Cincinnati Bengals have one of the best offenses in the NFL, and they may be adding a former two-time rushing champion.

Ezekiel Elliott, who was released by the Dallas Cowboys last week, has narrowed his choices down to three teams, and the Bengals are one of them.

Elliott may not be the guy he once was, but he wouldn't need to be with the Bengals. They have Trayveon Williams who recently re-signed, and they'll certainly draft another running back in next month's NFL draft.

If Elliott were to sign with the Bengals, it could mean that Joe Mixon gets his walking papers with the circus that's surrounded him lately.

The Bengals have a three-headed machine at wide receiver with All-Pro Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd that would also lessen Elliott’s load if he were to come on board.

Elliott would be coming to a revamped offensive that features Pro Bowler Orlando Brown Jr. who inked his deal last week and also his old teammate in Dallas, right tackle La'el Collins.

A big reason for Elliott’s departure from the Cowboys was his salary (was set to make 10.9 million in 2023). However, with a decline in play and the current running back market, the Bengals wouldn't have to shell out a lot of money for Elliott.

This situation will have plenty of eyes on it until Elliott’s final decision.
