The Titans have had a busy offseason so far, as they have lost and signed key players all over the roster.

They have let guys like Robert Woods, Taylor Lewan, David Long, and more walk out the door. However, they have also signed players like Arden Key, Andre Dillard, and Azeez Al-Shaair to fill those holes.

They have made many moves, some of which will make this team better, but overall they left a lot of work to do on the roster.

According to Pro Football Focus, the most significant loss was offensive guard Nate Davis.

“The Titans' offensive line was a major weakness throughout the 2022 season once left tackle Taylor Lewan went down with an injury, but Davis was a rare bright spot, earning a career-high 66.8 pass-block grade. Davis’ 79.3 run-blocking grade on outside zone rushes over the past three seasons ranked seventh among guards, making him the staple of the Titans' rushing attack.”

This was surprising for a few reasons. Nate Davis had played solid football throughout his time in Nashville but never stood out as anything special. Davis agreed to a 3-year, $30 million deal with the Bears at the start of free agency. This was a fair deal, but more than the Titans were willing to pay.

More notably, Davis dealt with various lower-body injuries in 2022 and missed a career-high in games. Mike Vabrel made it very clear that he is trying to get away from players that pile up injuries. Davis hasn’t played an entire season since 2020, so I do not think losing him is such a surprise.

Losing Davis does hurt the Titans, as they already had an extreme lack of depth on the offensive line. The signing of Daniel Brunskill should help fill the void Davis left, but hopefully, the Titans have a plan to rebuild the offensive line as a whole.
