In this film breakdown, we take a look at new Las Vegas Raiders WR Jakobi Meyers, who was the best free agent WR on the market this offseason. Meyers signed with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2019, and despite never crossing 1,000 yards in any of his 4 seasons, has proven to be a sure-handed and efficient talent in both the slot and on the outside. He isn't the fastest or most athletic slot WR, however he's an incredibly polished route runner who also has enough size to use his body beat defenders as well. Meyers was a high priority addition for the Raiders, due to his versatility, experience, and capability. Adding Meyers into an offense that already features Josh Jacobs, Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, Darren Waller, and now Jimmy Garoppolo, should make the Raiders must-see TV in 2023.
