The Denver Broncos receiving corps is much better than what one NFL analyst is giving them credit for.

Sure, the Broncos likely won't be a contender in 2023, and their offense was the league's worst in 2022, but some of the disrespect they are getting still doesn't add up.

The Broncos receiving corps isn't the deepest in the league by any means, but it certainly isn't in the bottom half of the league. One NFL analyst thinks so, as Trevor Sikkema of Pro Football Focus ranked them 17th. Here is what Sikkema thinks of the unit Denver will trott out on the field in 2023.

17. DENVER BRONCOS The Broncos are a polarizing team heading into the 2023 season. Given how big of a flop their 2022 season was, it's understandable to see this team through a more pessimistic lens. But it's still a talented group. Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, Tim Patrick, and Greg Dulcich make for an alluring receiving corps. Jeudy and Sutton have disappointed over the last two seasons, with neither receiver eclipsing a receiving grade of 80.0, but I still believe in the talent of this group and what it will look like with Sean Payton now at the helm.

Here is my deal with ranking them 17th: They have two guys in Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton, who could be the number one guys on some teams in this league. Neither had amazing, otherwordly seasons in 2022, but that is because of how bad the offense was as a whole.

Then you can factor in Marvin Mims, the rookie they just drafted out of Oklahoma, and the speed he brings. Mims is also a guy that can create space at the top of his routes and can high-point catches. Greg Dulchic showed that he could be a great tight end if the offense was even competent.

K.J. Hamler is finally healthy, and Tim Patrick is back from an ACL injury; he was an 800-yard receiver last we saw. The Broncos may not have the names that people know, but they have guys who can ball.

If it were up to me, I'd have the Broncos around the 12 mark. 2023 could be a big year for their receiving corps, especially in Sean Payton's offense.
