The Cincinnati Bengals play football tonight to kick off their preseason slate against the Green Bay Packers. Winning this game won't impact their season, but Joe Burrow being fully healthy for Week 1 will.

Burrow went through what appeared to be a normal pre-game warmup and was seen running and throwing for the first time since suffering a calf strain a little over two weeks ago.

It should be noted that this is not the first time Burrow has done either action since suffering the strain in late July. He's been recovering and working out in private over the past two weeks, just away from the public eye.

On Wednesday, Burrow was observing the team's joint practice against the Packers, even going through mental reps in street clothes. Many noted a slight gimp in his gait while walking the practice fields.

The way he was warming up three hours prior to a preseason game would have you believe nothing was even wrong with him.

It goes without saying that Burrow isn't suiting up for this game, and that may've been the case even if he hadn't gotten hurt in the second practice of training camp. That doesn't matter in the slightest.

What matters is Burrow looks like a guy who will be fully healthy by the time the regular season rolls around. Just four weeks separates us between now and Week 1 when the Bengals travel up I-71 to face the Cleveland Browns.
