Will we see more Jahmyr Gibbs?
The 12th overall pick played 19 snaps in his debut last week. This week he's expect to play a lot more. Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell said earlier in the week that Gibbs will "begin to get more touches now." We'll see just how much he gets.
Will Aidan Hutchinson eat?
The Seahawks are rolling into this game without both of their starting tackles and despite signing veteran Jason Peters earlier in the week, he is not expected to play in this game. Look for Hutchinson to try to take advantage of all this.
3 Players to watch
- CB Jerry Jacobs: Sunday is a big test of Jacobs as a starter. He's either going to shadow DK Metcalf or Tyler Lockett. Both guys have the ability to burn you. If Jacobs can shut them down, he'll prove that he's the Lions guy at CB2 for a long time.
- DL Isaiah Buggs: Here's a guy that should have a chip on his shoulder right now. He was benched against the Chiefs in Week 1 and with Josh Paschal now missing some time, Buggs should be active and ready to go for this game. He can really prove that the Lions need him in this one if he can help stop Kenneth Walker III
- CB Steven Gilmore: The Lions will be without Khalil Dorsey in this game. That opens the door for preseason standout Steven Gilmore to make his NFL debut. I'm sure he'll be on special teams, but will we see Gilmore go out on defense for some snaps?
