The Pittsburgh Steelers are about to face off in a battle of nostalgia.
Two of the league's most storied franchises, Sunday's battle in the 412 will be one built on years of football lore.
But if Pittsburgh is to reign victorious when the clock strikes zero, these five players will need to show up:
QB Kenny Pickett
Pickett has yet to put together a game that earns an elite rating from start to finish. Yet he is already one of the most clutch QBs in the league.
Nonetheless, similar to his opposition on Sunday, both he and Packers QB Jordan Love are young signal callers that were handed the keys after two of the best QBs of their generation won Super Bowls for their respective teams, (Rodgers in GB, Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh).
Add in the fact they play for two of the leagues most notable franchises and both have more questions than answers surrounding their future, and you can see how both of them will be taking this one personally.
OT Broderick Jones
Jones is gearng uo for his second straight start at RT as Chuks Okorafor continues to be benched for some unflattering comments after the Jaguars game.
Things won't get any easier this week, with Rashan Gary and a stacked Packers front coming to town.
His ability to keep Kenny clean and provide push in the run game will be paramount to Pittsbugh's success.
WR George Pickens
A budding star at WR, Pickens has been slow to get going the last two weeks and is coming off a Titans game that saw him record a negative amount of receiving yards, with him visibly upset both during and after the game.
Pickens may be catching a huge break with Packers star corner Jaire Alexander apparently out, meaning I expect him to have a big game on Sunday.
LB Kwon Alexander
With starting LB and green dot signal caller Cole Holcomb out for the year, veteran LB Kwon Alexander will take over his defense playcalling dtues, and try to fill Holcomb's shoes as a defender in the middle of Pittsburgh's defense.
Holcomb was quietly having a fantastic season, and he will be missed, meaning there will be an onus on Alexnader to set up in his absence.
CB Joey Porter Jr.
Joey Porter Jr. was excellent in his second straight start against the Titans, single-handedly shutting down one of the best WRs of the past decade, DeAndre Hopkins.
The Packers don't have that kind of threat on the perimeter, but they do have a heavy attack on the ground, which could expose one of Porter Jr.'s biggest flaws.
How he and the Steelers adapt will be critical.
