The NFL announced that they will be broadcasting 21 preseason games on the NFL network this season.

One of those is the Indianapolis Colts' Week 1 preseason matchup against the Denver Broncos.

This means the Colts will have two of their three preseason games broadcasted to the entire country. Their Week 1 preseason game against the Broncos will be broadcasted on NFL Network, and their Week 3 preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals will be broadcasted on Amazon Prime.

This game against the Broncos will be interesting because it could very well be the only preseason game we see the starters for the Colts get significant playing time. The Colts will be participating in joint practices with both the Arizona Cardinals and the Bengals during the preseason. Typically teams choose to sit starters in games following joint practices, which would leave just the Week 1 game against the Broncos.

And with Anthony Richardson coming back from injury after only appearing in four games during his rookie year, he needs the reps. So, who knows, maybe we get to see an entire half of football with the Broncos starting their 2024 1st-round pick Bo Nix against Richardson and the Colts' offense.
