The home stretch of the Indianapolis Colts‘ preseason is here. After this weekend, the Colts, like 31 other teams, will embark on the final cutdown window, as they narrow their roster from 90 to 53.

We now have even more data to go along with storylines like an Anthony Richardson resurgence, the signing of Keenan Allen, and the ever-dynamic injury situation after Week 2 of the preseason, so let’s project what this roster will look like come Week 1 of the regular season.

Offense (25)

Quarterbacks (3)
In: Daniel Jones, Anthony Richardson Sr., Riley Leonard
Out: Easton Stick (and others)

The team has stressed QB depth and appears set on keeping three, with Richardson sticking despite earlier trade rumors after looking sharp at times during camp.

Running backs (3)
In: Jonathan Taylor, Seth McGowan, Ulysses Bentley IV
Out: DJ Giddens (injured/less versatile in preseason evaluations), Anderson Castle, Roydell Williams, others

Giddens (2025 draft pick) has been limited; McGowan and Bentley offer more versatility/special teams value behind Taylor.

Wide receivers (6)
In: Alec Pierce, Josh Downs, Keenan Allen, Ashton Dulin, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Coleman Owen
Out: Anthony Gould, Deion Burks (rookie), Sahmir Hagans, Eli Pancol, Raylen Sharpe, others

Allen’s recent signing adds third-down help. Owen edges the final spot largely due to return-game contributions.

Tight ends (4)
In: Tyler Warren, Mo Alie-Cox, Drew Ogletree, Will Mallory
Out: Pharaoh Brown (possible IR candidate), others

Balanced group with pass-catching (Warren/Mallory) and blocking (Alie-Cox/Ogletree) options.

Offensive line (9)
In: Bernhard Raimann, Quenton Nelson, Tanor Bortolini, Matt Goncalves, Jalen Travis, Blake Freeland, Dalton Tucker, Jalen Farmer, Luke Tenuta

Travis is the projected new starter at RT; Farmer is a strong camp performer as the top guard backup. Depth at center and tackle is a noted concern.

Young/inexperienced group overall; rookies Allen and Boettcher are expected to play significant roles.

Out: Jaylon Jones (borderline in some projections), others

Taylor-Britt faces a Week 1 suspension (won’t count against the initial 53 in some accounting). Depth here could see post-cut waiver activity.

Bynum is a key free-agent addition; Haulcy has starting upside as a rookie.

Out: Blake Grupe (kicker competition remains close; some projections flip the two)

Sanchez and Rhodes are long-term locks. The kicker battle is one of the final decisions.
