The Green Bay Packers are still hopeful that quarterback Jordan Love will be available to play on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. On Friday, Love practiced for the third day in a row. And even though it was in limited capacity, it's a good sign that he has a shot at playing. The Packers listed him as questionable to be on the field.
When asked if Love was cleared, head coach Matt LaFleur said "we're working through that."
"Definitely a lot is up to him," LaFleur added. "I mean, you don't want to put somebody in that position, but certainly he's doing everything in his power. He wants to be out there more than anybody."
Last week, Love was also initially listed as questionable, but he hadn't practiced whatsoever. Then, on Saturday, the Packers downgraded him to doubtful, basically deciding that Love wouldn't be available against the Indianapolis Colts.
Now that Jordan Love practiced all week, it's much more realistic to expect that he will be medically cleared to play.
The Packers will most likely still elevate quarterback Sean Clifford from the practice squad for gameday to have flexibility, but it's something to keep an eye on over the weekend.
Other injuries
Rookie first-round pick Jordan Morgan is the only player ruled out with a shoulder injury, but cornerback Carrington Valentine has an ankle issue and is doubtful — the Packers rarely utilize players in these circumstances.
All the other players previously listed are now off the injury report and good to go on Sunday: defensive tackle Kenny Clark (toe), defensive end Kingsley Enagbare (groin), running back Josh Jacobs (back), left guard Elgton Jenkins (ilness/glute), tight end Tucker Kraft (shoulder), center Josh Myers (ankle), wide receiver Jayden Reed (calf), right tackle Zach Tom (quadricep), and left tackle Rasheed Walker (shoulder).
