Another week, another Indianapolis Colts player is dealing with an injury that's going to sideline him for multiple weeks.

With the news that star wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. is dealing with a back injury that could land him on the temporary injured reserve list, which would sideline him for at least four games.

Colts WR Michael Pittman Jr. expected to miss multiple games

So far in 2024, Pittman Jr. has played in all five of the team's games, and it's been a slower start to the year than he would have liked. He leads the team in receptions with 22 and targets with 37. He is also second on the team in receiving yards with 238, only trailing Alec Pierce, who has 368.

Pittman Jr. showed up on the team's injury report Wednesday with a back injury that held him out of practice. But I'm not sure anyone thought it was going to be something that would cause the veteran WR to miss multiple weeks. Let alone an injury that could land him on the temporary IR. If he does, in fact, get placed on the IR, here are the games he Pittman Jr. would be guaranteed to miss:

Week 6: @ Tennessee Titans
Week 7: Vs. Miami Dolphins
Week 8: @ Houston Texans
Week 9: @ Minnesota Vikings
