NASHVILLE — The Tennessee Titans (3-12) don't have much in 2024. They'll always have a lifelong fan, however, in award-winning country music star Jelly Roll

The Nashville native called in to The Buck Reising Show on 104.5 The Zone this Thursday to share his thoughts on the team.

Jelly Roll still believes in the Titans

“As we're going into the final part of this Titan season, as a Titan fan, you can imagine a lifelong Titan fan, no matter how bad our season is, if we can beat the Jacksonville Jaguars down in Jacksonville, I'll feel a little better being our rivals," said Jelly Roll. "But what do you think's going to happen if we crap the bed in Nissan Stadium when the Texans get here? Have you thought of this? Have you pondered this idea, Buck?”

With a record as bad as Tennessee's this year, everything is on the table.

First-year coach Brian Callahan and second-year general manager Ran Carthon are on the hot seat after a season with competitive promise turned into the stuff of nightmares. The staff hired to build around quarterback Will Levis saw him massively regress and the front office invested $228 million in free agency around a player that was benched with three games remaining in the season. Sitting Levis was an admission that this current administration needs results.

Two games at the Jaguars and a home finale against the Houston Texans are all that remain.

Jelly Roll has expressed his disappointment on social media with the direction of the team this season. As a lifer, he will continue to support the local team he grew up watching. He has lent his celebrity to getting the Titans involved in the community this year, including a surprise trip with the team to visit children at Nashville's Juvenile Justice Center last month.

“I'll also tell you, Buck, I'm going to keep showing up there," said Jelly Roll. "I've been a Titan fan long enough to know that this is just kind of part of our program. You know what I'm saying? We'll come back around and we'll surprise the world and end up in the AFC Championship again. It's what the Titans do, baby. Underdogs win, Buck. Underdogs win.”
