The Ohio State Buckeyes might be replacing about 45% of their production from a national championship-winning roster, but that hasn’t dissuaded sportsbooks from recognizing just how talented this program is. You’d be nuts not to be concerned about Ryan Day’s ability to replace two coordinators, his starting quarterback, top two rushers, and several other program stalwarts. However, the Buckeyes could still run the table and win another title.

At least that’s what sportsbooks are considering if their lines are predictive. Only five teams are favored in every regular-season game this fall. Joining the Buckeyes are Arizona State, Clemson, Georgia, and Notre Dame. While every point spread isn’t yet ready, the power rankings from Brad Powers of the Bet the Board Podcast foretell this future.

According to Powers’ predictions, Ohio State is expected to be a double-digit favorite in at least nine games. The only matchups where the Buckeyes are projected to have less than a 10-point advantage are: at home against Texas (-3) on August 30, at home against Penn State (-3½) on November 1, and at Michigan (-3½) on November 29.
