The New York Jets are looking to begin a new chapter on the gridiron. A new coaching staff, starting quarterback, and plenty other factors make up a fresh look for the squad. Running back Breece Hall made some waves via social media on Thursday morning, though.
Breece Hall sends mysterious message on social media
The Jets running back has always been fairly active on socials, so this is not a surprise. Regardless. his latest post on X/Twitter has certainly raised eyebrows around the team’s fan base. Hall posted “Time will tell” with no context included.
With a post like this, speculation erupts. That’s just how this always goes, particularly in the offseason. Hall is entering the final year of his rookie contract with New York. His post could have been in the midst of contract negotiations with the organization, but there’s no way to know that for sure yet. The RB has been impressive at times so far in his pro career, but it is tough to project what a contract extension would look like for Hall right now.

Hall could also be pointing to social media disrespect for his team entering this season. There are not necessarily “high” expectations for the Jets with new head coach Aaron Glenn and his staff at the helm. The young RB could feel like NY is currently getting overlooked in the AFC East race.
