How to watch J.J. McCarthy’s Minnesota Vikings home debut against the Atlanta Falcons
The home debut of J.J. McCarthy will be must watch television
The Minnesota Vikings are going into their home opener against the Atlanta Falcons at 1-0, and it will be their second consecutive primetime game.
Quarterback J.J. McCarthy got his first-ever NFL start on Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears, and it was quite the roller coaster. They got the win 27-24, but it was a huge up-and-down performance. With U.S. Bank Stadium up next, McCarthy will take the field for the third time in front of the home crowd, but the first time in the regular season.
Coming in are the Falcons, who barely got beaten by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-20. This is the second consecutive opponent for McCarthy who is a fellow quarterback from the 2024 NFL Draft class in Michael Penix Jr., and it could be an extra motivator, as Penix went two picks before he did.
This will be a game you won’t want to miss, and luckily enough, you’ll be able to watch it nationwide.
