The San Francisco 49ers are in a very strange spot right now. With head coach Kyle Shanahan leading the organization, they continue to be in a winning window, but this team is nearing the end of its chances right now. Continuing to add a lot of impressive talent while trying to get over the top.

The 2026 NFL Draft offers a chance for the 49ers to replenish the talent on their roster. That includes adding a difference maker in the secondary, another weapon for quarterback Brock Purdy, and more depth on both the offensive and defensive lines. It is an incredibly impressive haul in this latest 7-round 2026 mock draft.

Round 1, Pick 30: Kamari Ramsey, S, USC

There may not be a more underrated defensive back in the 2026 class than Ramsey. The former UCLA standout is incredibly intelligent and plays with tremendous effort and tenacity. Ramsey is also a much better coverage player than most people realize.

Round 2, Pick 61: Eric Singleton Jr., WR, Auburn

The former Georgia Tech transfer is one of the best space players in the entire country. At 5-10 and 178 pounds, Singleton is a smaller pass catcher, which will limit his alignment to a degree. As an after-catch weapon that can win in multiple ways, Singleton provides some big play potential.

Round 3, Pick 94: Kayden McDonald, DT, Ohio State

There is no bigger riser in the 2026 interior defensive line class than McDonald. Taking the place of Ty Hamilton and Tyleik Williams, McDonald has been a tremendous player for the Buckeyes so far in 2024. At 6-3 and 326 pounds, he is almost impossible to move at the point of attack when he digs in.

Round 4, Pick 129: Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State

The 6-6, 330-pound behemoth plays right tackle for Arizona State, but he also has the body type to play inside if needed as well. He is an extremely gifted athlete who does some nice work on the move. Iheanachor feels like a perfect fit into the heavy outside zone running scheme.

Round 4, Pick 137: Zion Young, EDGE, Missouri

Young is a bigger EDGE with tremendous length, which allows him to play from multiple alignments. Continuing to add talent up front around Nick Bosa is key, and this also creates depth when he isn’t available. Young has a lot of talent, but will need to be developed.

Round 4, Pick 138: Jaishawn Barham, LB, Michigan

When you watch Barham with the Wolverines or during his early career with Maryland, Barham is a defensive weapon who has experience playing linebacker and on the edge. That provides a lot of upside for a defense, which would be a huge bonus for the 49ers.

Round 6, Pick 173: Jaeden Roberts, OG, Alabama

From a pure talent perspective, Roberts should be a lot better than he is. He tends to dip his head as a blocker, and durability has been an issue at times. There is still developmental upside to tap into, especially at this point in the draft.

Round 6, Pick 179: Judge Collier, CB, South Carolina

Collier is a big physical corner who does his best work getting yards on wide receivers early in reps. While he isn’t the fastest cornerback of all time, the 6-2, 200-pound cover man brings some upside in the right situation.

Round 6, Pick 196: Michael Trigg, TE, Baylor

From a pure talent perspective, Trigg could go considerably higher than this. There are some off the field questions, however, that could potentially cause a slide. If it does, this would be a tremendous value for the 49ers.
