Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is looking to be in good spirits as he and his teammates look to turn the ship around after two straight losses.

While speaking to the media ahead of the Eagles’ Week 7 road match against the Minnesota Vikings, Brown was asked about the team’s vibe, and he had the reporter answer the question.

“You tell me,” Brown said, smiling and looking around the locker room. “You listening? What do you think? Sounds normal, huh? Yeah, normal, exactly. We’re not letting a loss just humble us. You can’t let it humble you. You gotta keep going and continue to find ways. This team is fine. This team is motivated and trying to get on the same page.”

A.J. Brown Isn’t Ignoring the Team’s Offensive Issues

While Brown is trying to look at the positive side of things, he’s not ignorant that there are still issues with Philly’s offense that they need to figure out.

“Main issues? Self-inflicted wounds,” Brown said. “Sometimes, it’s just a lack of execution at the wrong time. You know if it’s first down and you are going to lack the execution, it may not be the end of the world. But when it happens on third down or puts us behind the sticks, that’s hard to recover from in this league. Just being on the same page and just a lack of execution.”

The Eagles have a 34.67 conversion rate on third-downs right now, which ranks them 27th across the NFL.

Thankfully, they had an extra-long weekend to find solutions to their offensive problems that head coach Nick Sirianni had talked about. The hope now is that the additional time to prepare and rest paid off.

We’ll see how this more relaxed A.J. Brown and the rest of the Eagles respond when they take on Minnesota on Sunday afternoon.
