Saints 4-round 2026 NFL mock draft: New Orleans finds their new Tyrann Mathieu, Tyler Shough gets help, and the SEC is in the rookie spotlight
Check out this four-round scenario that makes sense for the Saints.
The New Orleans Saints are on their way to a premium NFL Draft spot for 2026. Sitting at 2-8 after their bye week, it will be tough for the Saints to navigate back to anywhere near playoff discussions around the NFC. With that, it is worth taking a look at their projected draft capital and a potential mock draft for Kellen Moore’s team.

Saints 4-round 2026 NFL mock draft after bye week
Round 1, Pick 4: Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
The Saints pick arguably the most talented (and polished) prospect in the entire class. While some may frame this choice negatively due to positional value, Downs can transcend that topic. He would immediately step into an impactful role for New Orleans, and they need a major influx of youth to that unit. Jonas Sanker and Quincy Riley have been exciting pieces as rookies, so just keep stacking.
Round 2, Pick 35: Kevin “KC” Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M
This would be a great fit for Tyler Shough and the Saints passing game. Concepcion is a versatile piece who provides both receiving and special teams upside. Sound familiar? With the Aggie product, you’re getting a bigger version of Rashid Shaheed that can make more plays in the middle of the field.
Round 3, Pick 69: Damon Wilson Jr., EDGE, Missouri
Getting an improved pass rush is vital for New Orleans in the upcoming offseason. That part of their defense has been lacking for over a year now, and Chase Young is the only consistent presence off the edge. Cameron Jordan could retire following this season, opening the door for Wilson’s athletic prowess to step in quickly. Not many prospects at 6’4 move as well as he does along the DL.
Round 4, Pick 127: Daylen Everette, CB, Georgia
An SEC run continues here with Everette. The Bulldogs cornerback has taken another step forward in his development this season and recently shown flashes of why there were such high expectations for him at Georgia. Adding him into a rotation with Kool-Aid McKinstry and Quincy Riley creates a young core with plenty of potential.
Round 4, Pick 137: Logan Jones, IOL, Iowa
The tackle play has been a positive for the Saints this season, overall. The young guys are performing. Meanwhile, there is long-term unknown with the interior OL. Erik McCoy is dealing with another season-ending injury, and Cesar Ruiz has had his fair share of mishaps. Jones is a powerful player inside and can, at the least, give you depth along the interior OL.
