The Texas A&M Aggies ahead of the SEC in 2025, thanks to an outstanding season and plenty of momentum injected into the program by this new staff. Led by head coach Mike Elko, the Aggies have committed plenty of resources into their new-look NIL groups and the infrastructure and support staff surrounding the program.

So it’s no surprise to see that they continue to stack wins on and off the field this season. The Aggies are 11-0, locks to make the College Football Playoff, and are a win away from making the SEC Championship game. Based on their success off the field as well, they aren’t slowing down anytime soon. The Aggies have the eighth-ranked recruiting class in 2026, and have just added a dynamite playmaker who could be their next gamechanger on offense.

Jayden Warren the big play threat Texas A&M needs

On Sunday, following A&M’s 48-0 stomping of Samford, they flipped 2026 four-star wide receiver Jayden Warren. Warren was previously committed to the Houston Cougars beforehand, but the Aggies were relentless in his recruitment all year long, and were successful at pulling off the flip just before Early Signing Period began.

It’s easy to see why on film. Warren boasts some of the most dynamic film I’ve seen from a recruit in this 2026 cycle. He brings great size to win in contested situations at 6’2 195 pounds, but the biggest thing about his film is his unbelievable speed at his size. He’s hit track speeds as fast as a 10.16-second 100-meter(!), and that simply pops off his film.

Warren is constantly blowing past defenders on his film, generating easy separation downfield as a premier vertical threat. The offense also features him fairly extensively on quick underneath passes to let his speed win out in space. There’s also nice flashes of route nuance to his game, stacking defenders and setting up double moves.

Elko, offensive coordinator Collin Klein, and wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins have made Warren their biggest priority at receiver for months, and his film shows why. This is a fantastic flip for this staff to pull off just before signing begins, and he could be the big play threat this offense will need in the coming years once KC Concepcion and Mario Craver are off to the NFL.
