The Buffalo Bills are making their final preparations for the upcoming Week 15 showdown against the New England Patriots. Buffalo is coming off one of the most thrilling wins of the season, a fourth-quarter comeback against the Cincinnati Bengals.

What makes the victory even that much more impressive is how Buffalo pulled it off, all while down a handful of key players. Defensive end Joey Bosa, linebacker Terrel Bernard, wide receiver Josh Palmer, and offensive tackle Spencer Brown were all unable to compete.

Fortunately, head coach Sean McDermott gave fans an early Christmas gift with the latest injury update coming out of Western New York.

Bills get some good injury news for Week 15

The only player on the 53-man roster who wasn’t participating in the walkthrough in any capacity was tight end Dawson Knox, who is dealing with some personal matters but should be good to go for Sunday.

Outside of that, Bosa, Palmer, Bernard, and Brown were all limited but trending in the right direction. We need to temper our expectations for Bosa, who was previously dealing with a week-to-week injury. It by no means indicates that Buffalo is out of the woods yet, but it’s an encouraging sign.

Getting back some weapons on both sides of the football will go a long way toward finding success. Palmer, Brown, and Bosa are perhaps the biggest names. That’s not a slight to team captain Terrel Bernard; it’s just that Shaq Thompson has been playing exceptionally well in his absence.

A Christmas miracle in Buffalo

After weeks of bad news on the injury front, it’s good to get some positive updates, especially this time of year. McDermott confirmed that safety Cole Bishop and tight end Dalton Kincaid would be full participants, giving fans yet another reason to be excited.

Kincaid has been dealing with a host of injuries this season, but when he’s on the field, he’s a true difference-maker. As for Bishop, he left the game against the Bengals due to cramping and appears to be all systems go heading into a pivotal game.

With the AFC race tightening by the minute, Buffalo could use every healthy body it can get. If the injury momentum continues to trend upward, the Bills will be in far better shape to take on a Patriots team fighting for its own playoff push. Week 15 has no shortage of stakes, and Buffalo may finally be getting healthy at the perfect time.
