The Cleveland Browns appear to have hit on a very exciting draft class a year ago. A few months after going 5-12 and missing the playoffs again, the Browns need another really good draft haul.

Cleveland hit on some major pieces for both their offense and defense, including LB Carson Schwesinger, TE Harold Fannin Jr., RB Quinshon Judkins, and DT Mason Graham.

With the weekend here, there’s no better time to dig in on a full 7-round mock draft. A to Z Sports’ Travis May made 10 selections for the Browns. Let’s run through it.

Breaking down the latest 2026 Browns’ mock draft

Taking Caleb Downs with the first pick would be accepted by some and not accepted by others. The Browns struggled in 2025 because of their defense and they have glaring needs along both the offensive line and wide receiver. It’s fair to have a player like Downs in the picture if you’re going best player available. If there aren’t wideouts or offensive linemen good enough to be picked at No. 6, then Downs makes a ton of sense as a cornerstone piece for the defense.

The Browns taking Concepcion at the end of the first gives them a player with major playing ability. He’s a plug-and-play plaque for the Browns from Day 1. How the Browns operate in free agency will dictate how they draft for the offensive line, but Lew would be a rookie starter on the interior.

Moore was productive for Michigan and had a good Senior Bowl. He’d figure into the rotation opposite of Myles Garrett. The Browns adding depth to the defensive interior with the next pick isn’t what I’d do, but it’s made up for by taking a talented tight end in Georgia’s Oscar Delp later.

Le’Veon Moss would fight to be in the running back rotation and Diego Pavia would be battling for a practice squad spot to develop for the Browns.

The NFL combine starts up next week and the draft is right around the corner from April 23-25. It’ll be a crucial three days for the Browns.
