One of the Denver Broncos’ biggest moves during the first two days of NFL free agency was to re-sign running back J.K. Dobbins.

Dobbins, who started his career with the Baltimore Ravens before spending one season with the Los Angeles Chargers, rushed for 772 yards in 10 games for the Broncos last season.

The 27-year-old running back missed seven games due to a Lisfranc injury.

Dobbins has missed 27 games over the last three seasons, leading to concerns about his durability. When healthy, though, the former Ohio State Buckeyes standout is electric. Dobbins’ numbers from last year extrapolate to 1,312 rushing yards over a 17-game season.

Dobbins, unsurprisingly, heard from plenty of haters on social media after agreeing to a two-year deal to return to the Broncos.

One fan tweeted that Denver still has a need at running back after agreeing to a deal with Dobbins.

“Lol go check the numbers and tell us how many RBs are better,” tweeted Dobbins in response.

Dobbins certainly needs to find a way to stay healthy, but there’s no doubt that he’s capable of taking over a game when he’s on the field.
