Kansas City Chiefs 2026 NFL Draft: 3 players Brett Veach will love from Yahoo’s annual All-Juice Team honoring Terez Paylor

Yahoo’s Charles Robinson and Charles McDonald released the 2026 All-Juice Team honoring the late Terez Paylor. Here are three of the prospects from the list that I think the Kansas City Chiefs will love.

Every year during the NFL Draft, I find myself wearing my All-Juice Team T-Shirt and wondering. I ask myself which prospects would’ve landed on Terez Paylor’s annual draft list, recognizing players for their effort, attitude, and athletic prowess. I question whether any of those players who display “juice” would land with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Those questions matter to the Chiefs organization’s decision-makers, too. Brett Veach and his staff wore All-Juice Team hoodies on Day 3 in honor of Paylor during the 2024 NFL Draft.

Yahoo’s Charles Robinson and Charles McDonald have kept the All-Juice Team going, and this year’s list has several players that I expect to be squarely on the Chiefs’ radar.

Three 2026 All-Juice Team prospects for the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2026 NFL Draft

Georgia OT Monroe Freeling

Elite size, length, and athleticism are always a good start for offensive tackle prospects. Freeling has just that at 6-foot-7, 315 pounds, with 34.625-inch arms. He’s never going to have someone question whether he’s a guard or a tackle in the NFL. He’s very clearly a tackle. The 21-year-old’s kick slide is effortless and natural-looking. He’s an easy mover in space, and I think that aspect of his game is what Terez Paylor would’ve recognized most. He puts defenders in the dirt when he gets a full head of steam. He excels in combination blocks and at the second level.

Penn State EDGE Dani Dennis-Sutton

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, Dennis-Sutton is cater-made for Steve Spagnuolo’s defense. He’s got a motor that doesn’t quit, hands reminiscent of Tamba Hali, and an advanced pass-rush toolkit. The production over the past two seasons is pretty eye-popping, with a 22.2% win rate on true pass rush sets. Where tenacity meets production, that’s exactly what would’ve caught Terez Paylor’s eye on Dennis-Sutton. It’s what should make him a target for the Chiefs on Day 2 of the 2026 NFL Draft.

Mississippi State WR Brenen Thompson

Thompson might be redundant with Xavier Worthy and Tyquan Thornton, but the Chiefs covet speed on offense. Thompson tied for the fifth-fastest 40-yard dash in NFL Scouting Combine history at 4.26s. The big knock will be that he’s 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds. Yet, he still had five plays of 50 or more yards in 2025. He beat press and man coverage at a near 70% clip. Where I think Terez Paylor would’ve really loved Thompson’s game is his ability to change direction on a dime. Just thinking about that as a facet of Andy Reid’s screen game is enough to feed families.
