The Alabama Crimson Tide didn’t go quietly into the night after their loss in the Rose Bowl. It attacked the transfer portal, replacing key members of the offensive line and the trenches, while also addressing the middle of the Crimson Tide’s defense.
It just so happens that ESPN believes that one transfer at inside backer could be one of the more important players for Alabama this season.

He used to be a year-round competitive swimmer, starting at the age of 6 and continuing until he was 14.”

Woodson has already fit like a glove in Tuscaloosa. Despite coming to Alabama as mostly a coverage player, there are reports that he’s close to 240 pounds, and all anyone can talk about are how off the charts his intangibles are.
As the green dot and leader of the defense, Woodson has stepped into some huge shoes following the loss of Deontae Lawson and Justin Jefferson to the NFL, but his leadership skills have been on full display throughout his short time in Tuscaloosa.
Parlay that with his tangible traits like the ability to cover in space, run and chase ballcarriers, and his growing ability to stack and shed as he adds lean mass, and there is a lot to be excited about when it comes to Woodson.
As the point man in Kane Wommack’s 4-2-5 swarm, the more time on task, the better for Woodson. Fall camp will be huge for him, but if healthy, I expect him to be a household name by the holiday season.
