Pack your bags, Detroit Lions fans. It’s time to get set and ready to go to Munich, Germany. We finally know everything there is to know about the game, including who they’re playing.

The Lions will play the New England Patriots in Munich, Germany

There you go. The game will be in Week 10, which is November 15th, at 9:30 AM EST.

The Patriots were not the team we predicted would face the Lions in Germany. This one felt much more like a Thanksgiving game. But alas, it’s going overseas, and it looks like the NFL is doing it’s best to try to sell these international games as games that not just the fans are going to want to watch, but everyone will want to watch.

Dan Campbell vs Mike Vrabel is exactly the type of matchup you want to see. These guys are mirror images of each other in terms of on-field personas. Their coaching style is very similar as well.

We’ll also get to see Jared Goff ve Drake Maye. Two players who have some similarities in terms of how their career timelines are going. First round picks who still had the stigma that they had more to learn, still, and then led their team to a Super Bowl early.

The Lions will also go up against former defensive line coach Terrell Williams, who is thankfully back from his fight with cancer. The Patriots also have former Lions cornerback Carlton Davis in the building. This should be a fun game for sure. Now, we wait to see if the Lions get a bye after this.
