How successful can they be? There are a lot of different things that will impact the Vikings. Overall, it will boil down to Kevin O’Connell’s offense showing significant improvement. Here’s how we have the Vikings’ 2026 season going.

Overall, it’s a tough schedule for the Vikings. Yes, it’s one that can be overcome, but there are some difficult stretches. Week 8-Week 11 sees the Vikings play four playoff teams from 2025, with three of those games on the road. If they can come out of those games with a 2-2 record, it would be a huge win.
The biggest surprise here is the Week 17 loss to the Jets. Every year, the Vikings find a way to lose a game they shouldn’t. This year, it’ll be a trap game with the Jets. Not only do the Vikings have a history in this kind of game, but it’s a cold-weather game. Kyler Murray has historically struggled in those situations.
The key for the Vikings’ schedule is going to be going 4-1 or better in the first five games before the bye week. That will be the key for the Vikings’ success overall.
