Alabama Crimson Tide WR Ryan Coleman-Williams receives massive disrespect after release of top-100 players for 2026 season

On3 has released its top-100 players for the 2026 season, and it’s safe to say that Alabama Crimson Tide WR will have some bulletin board material over the summer.

The Alabama Crimson Tide is being discounted ahead of the 2026 season like few times in the past. Beyond being ranked 16th in ESPN’s way-too-early top 25 rankings and questions about the quarterback situation, one of the proven players on Alabama’s roster is being forgotten about, or downright disrespected.

That would be Ryan Coleman-Williams. After bursting onto the scene in 2024 as a 17-year-old freshman, Coleman-Williams had a regression in 2025, leading the FBS in drops and never showing the ability to find his rhythm. But the talent was still evident, and his spring has suggested that a new version of himself has arrived and he looks to get back to greatness. Well, not according to On3.

Ryan Coleman-Williams 2025 stats

  • 49 receptions.
  • 689 yards.
  • 4 touchdowns.

Ryan Coleman-Williams left off On3’s top 100 players of 2026 list

Yes, you read that H2 correctly, Ryan Coleman-Williams didn’t make On3’s top-100 list for the 2026 season. It almost feels like an oversight on the part of that publication, because players like Yhonzae Pierre, Michael Carroll, Bray Hubbard, and Keon Sabb all made the list from 49-100.

Those are all fine players for Alabama, and there is an argument to be made that Pierre is far too low, given that he’s frequently been mocked in the first round of 2027 mock drafts, but that’s neither here nor there, given our main topic here.

Why Ryan Coleman-Williams being left off top-100 list is crazy

To think that RCW, even among those four members from Alabama that are on the list, is not part of the top-100 players is asinine. He’s averaged 7.5 yards after the catch in his two years at the capstone. He’s made plays against the Georgia Bulldogs and had huge games on some even bigger stages.

He has elite route running and separation skills, he wins down the field vertically, and he’s impossible to tackle, even in a phone booth. So I don’t know if On3 really put this out and felt good about their rankings, or if it was a massive oversight, but it’s laughable nonetheless.
