Another prediction has landed on what school top Ohio State football target RB David Gabriel Georges will commit to
Ohio State’s top target is none other than five-star RB David Gabriel George’s, and the latest noise around the star recruit is in the Buckeyes’ direction.
Baylor School (TN) five-star RB David Gabriel Georges took his official visit to Ohio State last weekend and he’ll be taking one to Tennessee starting on Friday. It’s no secret that Gabriel Georges is the top target for the Buckeyes this cycle.
Ohio State wants to land a premier running back recruit this cycle, and a player like Gabriel Georges would be able to come in and play Year 1 alongside Bo Jackson in an ideal world. Gabriel Georges will make a college decision in late July, and the noise around the Buckeyes continues to grow.
New prediction has come in for five-star RB David Gabriel Georges
There are a few predictions out there for the country’s No. 2 running back in the class of 2027 and they are for Ohio State. A new prediction dropped on Wednesday night from Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman, who believes Gabriel Georges will commit to the Buckeyes.
“Ohio State is going toe-to-toe with Tennessee for the nation’s No. 2 running back,” Spiegelman wrote. “From speaking with sources informed on this recruitment, the Buckeyes took another step in the right direction over the weekend.”
Ohio State and Tennessee are the two schools at the top in Gabriel Georges’ recruitment. The 6-foot, 215-pound running back will take visits to Ole Miss and Georgia after the trip to Knoxville this weekend. Ole Miss is a distant third in the recruitment and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Georgia visit didn’t happen. The Bulldogs have the No. 1 RB in the country committed with Kemon Spell, and they’re not getting both.
The Buckeyes have what no one else does and that’s running backs coach Carlos Locklyn recruiting the elite recruit. Locklyn and Gabriel Georges have had a relationship for a few years dating back to when Ohio State’s running back coach was at Oregon. The relationship has become very strong and the family is high on having Locklyn in Gabriel Georges’ corner.
Ohio State has made it through the big official visit and it’s not just a waiting game. In the end, the expectation is that the Buckeyes will get some great news by landing a true difference maker at running back.
