Three centers the Baltimore Ravens could still pursue via trade after the Dolphins’ Aaron Brewer extension
The Miami Dolphins have extended Aaron Brewer, taking the best center trade candidate off the market. Who is left for the Baltimore Ravens?
If you were hoping for the Baltimore Ravens to make a splash via trade in the center market, bad news came through last night.
One of the best centers in the league, who was set to play this season in a contract year, has signed a new deal. The Miami Dolphins and second-team All-Pro center Aaron Brewer came to terms on a three-year, $52.5 million extension, which leaves the Ravens in need of looking elsewhere if they want to upgrade the center position via trade.
What does the market look like now? Are there any intriguing names left that could be available? Here are three players to consider.
Who could the Baltimore Ravens still pursue via trade at center after the Aaron Brewer extension?

1. Jackson Powers-Johnson, Las Vegas Raiders
Powers-Johnson is a former top-50 pick who won the Rimington Trophy for the best center in college football back in 2023. He’s been playing guard in the NFL and failed to hit it off with the Raiders’ 2025 coaching staff. Now, there’s another new coaching staff in place and the Raiders have an extensive list of young talent on the line.
They, additionally, signed Baltimore’s old center to a major contract to man the middle. Powers-Johnson could be a high-ceiling swing of the bat for the Ravens if Las Vegas likes their other options. He’s cheap, too. Powers-Johnson is owed just over $3.5 million in cash over the next two seasons.

2. Lloyd Cushenberry, Buffalo Bills
Cushenberry was once a very sturdy NFL center. Injury derailed his tenure in Tennessee while playing on a hefty contract, and he was released this past February by the Titans. He’s since signed a one-year deal in Buffalo with the Bills. But with Connor McGovern back in Buffalo and young Sedric Van Pran-Granger also on the depth chart, Cushenberry could be an easily accessible swing of the bat for the Ravens.

3. Jake Andrews, Houston Texans
It sure sounds like rookie Keylan Rutledge is going to be playing center, with Wyatt Teller and Ed Ingram at guard. That leaves Jake Andrews as a depth piece capable of playing guard or center. The trade cost here would probably be cheap — as Andrews is probably best served serving in a depth role. But is Andrews better than Danny Pinter and Jovaughn Gwyn? You tell me…
