The Buffalo Bills took a big step towards finding that elusive top-tier wide receiver this offseason. The Bills pulled off a trade with the Chicago Bears to acquire veteran wide receiver DJ Moore back on March 5.

Moore hasn’t played a down yet for Buffalo. However, it did not take him long to earn some new fans among the Bills Mafia before the bright lights come on in the team’s brand new Highmark Stadium in September.

According to WKBW news in Buffalo, Moore went into a Buffalo area mall sports store and spent $1200 to buy the entire stock of jersey shirts there with his name on it to give away to fans.

Tee Shirt University re-tagged the 27 shirts that Moore bought from them with the following “[this shirt way paid for by DJ Moore!” with a price of $0.00 on them.

It’s a great way to get some positive vibes for Moore coming into what will be a very interesting season for him and a new era of Bills football in 2026.

The Bills have a new head coach, with Joe Brady stepping up to take over for the fired Sean McDermott. Buffalo is also kicking off their first season at their new Highmark Stadium, with their first game taking place against the Detroit Lions on Thursday, September 17.

But a lot will be on the shoulders of Moore to help the Bills take that elusive next step in the postseason. With the Bills’ misses at finding a true difference maker out wide, Moore has a golden opportunity to establish himself quickly in Buffalo lore if he can help them finally get back to the Super Bowl for the first time in over 30 years.

And he certainly didn’t start off poorly with Buffalo fans in that regard this summer.
