One of Miami’s fastest rising stars offers the kind of update that every Dolphins fan wants to hear
Few Miami Dolphins plays saw their stock rise more than Patrick Paul. Paul recently dished on a promising update for his new line mate, Kadyn Proctor.
As the Miami Dolphins‘ offensive line goes in 2026, so too will the offense.
The Dolphins’ new regime hasn’t shied away from their desire to own the line of scrimmage. And the team’s first major draft investment being OL Kadyn Proctor only further reinforces that point. The question for many fans now is how quickly will Proctor hit the ground running? After all, Miami invested the previous season in a top-50 pick through Jonah Savaiinaea and there were major growing pains. The Dolphins’ left tackle, rising standout Patrick Paul, recently offered his assessment of Proctor to team media personality Travis Wingfield. It’s exactly the kind of update the fans want to hear.
Patrick Paul’s glowing review of Kadyn Proctor should have Miami Dolphins fans buzzing
“(Proctor) is great. He’s locked in at all times, just kind of that ‘Bama DNA’. But he’s great. One of the largest people I’ve ever seen. He’s a force, truthfully. He has great feet. He moves well for how big he is. And honestly, he’s just a great person. Me and him bond on different things like cologne, different things like scents…it’s great to have him in the room. He’s funny; has a lot of character and I’m excited to play with him. It’s going to be great.”

If Paul and Proctor click into place quickly, it will be a transformative development for Miami’s offensive line. Savaiinaea’s struggles last season often yielded negative plays, and this regime seems to think moving him back to his natural side of the line on the right will help. Proctor, of course, played left tackle for the Tide. But the stance won’t have to flip amid a kick inside to guard. And that gives Miami fresh hope for a physically imposing combination to run behind starting this season. Paul likes what he sees so far, which is great news for everyone involved.
